about the event
Join us for an evening of seafood, conversation, and community that brings together the people shaping the future of aquaculture across New England.
Hosted by Minorities In Aquaculture and Lift All Boats, this event centers the voices and contributions of diverse communities in aquaculture while honoring the working traditions of New England’s coast. Around a shared table, guests will enjoy a potluck-style meal featuring oysters, seaweed, crabs, tinned fish, and more—sourced from local aquaculture partners committed to sustainability and equity.
At its heart this event is about bringing people together. It's a place to meet new faces, strengthen relationships, and exchange ideas across the aquaculture community in Wolfe’s Neck’s beautiful setting.
Through food and storytelling, we'll honor the traditions and innovation that make New England's coastal communities thrive. Whether you're working in aquaculture, interested in sustainable seafood, or simply looking to engage with others who care about the future of our waters, there's a seat for you.

We welcome donations of seafood, side dishes, beverages, desserts, and event supplies, as well as monetary contributions that help us keep the event accessible and community-centered. Since launching in 2022, the program has provided more than 40 students with meaningful opportunities to explore careers in Maine’s fishing communities
